Kanjee:
This is best suited for busy mothers and especially those
who have kids who fuss about eating. Just boil two spoon of
this mixture in milk and drink. It's good nourishment and
a substantial diet for the kids, who stay in school without
breakfast for long hours. It can be given to elderly people,
who cannot digest regular food but require a nutritious diet.
This can also be eaten safely as a pre and postnatal nourishment.
It contains water chestnuts with the goodness of lotus flower
seeds and fruits such as Almonds and Walnuts.
Panch Mewa: This can be
used as a drink or porridge or you can have it plain. Inspired
from an ancient formula of grandmothers, it nourishes the
family. It's a very nutritious diet, especially for pre and
postnatal care and works as an energy booster for the entire
family. It's made of dry fruits, vegetable gum (Accacia tree),
lotus seeds, coconut, almonds, melon seeds, cashew nuts, etc.
in a cereal base with goodness of turmeric, black pepper,
ginger and Ajwan to protect against cold and host of other
ailments.
